Mark Ruffalo's Avengers: Infinity War Photo Makes Us Question What's Next For Hulk

Are you ready for Hobo Hulk? Is Bruce Banner going to hang up his lab coat and hop the train rails, riding in boxcars and eating beans out of tin cans for the duration of Marvel's Phase 4? So much of what is to come in the next two Avengers movies remains a mystery, so when we see fun images like the one that Mark Ruffalo shares below, we take the Speculation Baton (an actual thing) and run with it.

There are a number of things to unpack in this image, which Mark Ruffalo claims is from his "last day on IW," which is this summer's Avengers: Infinity War. He's in his motion-capture suit, the duds that allow a mild-mannered actor to turn into the raging, green, smashworthy Hulk. But what is that stick and bag that he has over his shoulder? It's absolutely a prop, and it's made to look like the makeshift suitcase of a travelin' man. Hulk looks like he's in an alley, surrounded by trash. Is he about to make a dash back into isolation, the solitude of being alone that he often looks for in these Marvel Cinematic Universe movies?

But the wording in Mark Ruffalo's tweet sets off a number of bells and whistles. "The final exit"? Does he mean his "final exit" from the set of Avengers: Infinity War? It could be a harmless phrase to mean that. Or is Ruffalo giving Marvel fans some indication that the Hulk's fate is resolved in this summer's Avengers: Infinity War, and the character will be off the board in the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4?

Mark Ruffalo has been doing this Marvel "thing" long enough to know that any clue he doles out to fans is going to be scrutinized. At the same time, this is the guy who leaked the opening to Thor: Ragnarok, and shared selfies from the landmark Marvel cast photo ahead of the Vanity Fair cover story, so his gauge for spoilers is all over the place. I'm willing to bet that Ruffalo just revealed more than he probably should have by digging up this old set photo from Reddit, but we still have a few more months until we know for certain.

Joe and Anthony Russo direct the wildly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War, which hits theaters on May 4. We know Hulk is in it. He's prominent in the above trailer. Universal Studios Orlando Will Let Harry Potter Fans See A Blast-Ended Skrewt For The First Time

All this week the Universal Orlando Resort has been revealing new details about the upcoming new roller coaster for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. The ride will include a number of creatures and obstacles that we have seen in the Harry Potter movies before, but the final creature revealed today will be one that nobody has ever laid eyes on. The blast-ended skrewt is a creature fans will be familiar with, but they'll be able to actually see it for the first time on board the attraction. Check it out.

While Blast-ended skrewts are mentioned several times in the Harry Potter novels, and even appear in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as part of the Tri-Wizard Tournament maze, they weren't used as part of the film version, which means nobody has actually seen what a blast-ended skrewt looks like in the cinematic version of Harry Potter.

That changes in June when Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster debuts. The attraction is designed around guests taking a Care of Magical Creatures class from Hagrid, one where the blast-ended skrewt is actually the main topic for the session. However, as it usual for Hagrid, things go slightly awry.

Blast-ended skrewts are a sort of magical scorpion. They are surrounded by armor so strong that magical spells can't penetrate it. They have tails that shoot fire and males are capable of stinging, while female have suckers. They also apparently smell like rotting fish. I can't say I'm excited to get the scent of that as I fly past one on the roller coaster.

Other creatures that riders will see include Fluffy, Hagrid's three-headed dog, Cornish pixies, who will be damaging a familiar flying car, centaurs, one of which takes aim at riders with a bow and arrow, and devil's snare. All these things live in the Forbidden Forest where the attraction is set.

It's great to see this new attraction not only bringing to life the things we've seen on film, so that fans can experience them in person, but also expand the mythology of Harry Potter in new ways that we've never seen before. Since J.K. Rowling has played a key role in working with Universal to create the Wizarding World, we can assume this design is as canon as anything else in the films or books.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was celebrated when it first opened for being the most immersive theme park experience ever created. It was designed to not just create attractions themed to the franchise, but make you feel like you were truly standing inside it. The newest part of the world opens at Universal Orlando Resort June 13.

What Is Fox Thinking About Doing With Wolverine?

For nearly two decades, Hugh Jackmans Wolverine was present in the X-Men film series at 20th Century Fox and the star of most of those movies. Jackman bid farewell to the clawed mutant with 2017s Logan, but life goes on, and there have been questions about if or when Wolverine will be recast. When asked whether theres been any thought about looking for a new Wolverine, longtime X-Men movies producer Lauren Shuler Donner admitted that there has indeed been consideration regarding who will wear the adamantium claws next. In her words:

Yes. Yes, because just the physicality of it all. Just to bulk up, this man works so hard to bulk up and would get up at 4 in the morning to bulk up and eat protein meals every two hours because his natural state, they used to call him Worm when he was a kid, so his natural state is a very skinny guy. And once you reach a certain age, the body just wont go anymore, and I think he was wise to say, Im at that point, I cant do it. Now, that doesnt mean he cant come back as older Wolverine, you never know. Future Wolverine, you never know. And I dont know what Kevins thinking, honestly. I dont even think Kevin knows yet. I think Kevins still dealing with this wealth of characters and trying to make sense of it all.

Lauren Shuler Donner spoke with CinemaBlend and several other outlets at the TCA Winter Press Tour about several X-Men-related topics, including the future of Wolverine. As Donner noted, Hugh Jackman went all out with ensuring he was in proper shape to play Wolverine for years, but because physicality is such an inherent part of the character, eventually the time came where he just couldnt keep up with that demanding regiment.

So while its unclear what will be done with Wolverine once he and the other X-Men characters have been acquired by Disney, there naturally has been thought about who will portray the Canadian rage-machine next. After all, he is one of the most popular X-Men characters of all time, so it doesnt make sense to leave him on the proverbial shelf just because Hugh Jackman played him for so long. And while the prospect of seeing Jackman reprising an older Wolverine is intriguing, the actor has indicated hes made peace with leaving the character behind, to the point thats hes refused to do a Wolverine/Deadpool team-up movie with Ryan Reynolds.

As things stand now, the only X-Men movies currently on the calendar are Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants. Others, like X-Force, Deadpool 3 and the Kitty Pryde movie, are in development, but its unclear if/when theyll ever see the light of day. Theres been speculation that these properties will simply be rebooted in order to fit within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that has yet to be officially confirmed.

Clowns are scary. This is an empirical fact and anybody that disagrees is wrong. This is why Stephen King's novel It was so utterly terrifying and why the movie of the same name became one of the highest grossing horror movies ever made. However, if you thought that the forthcoming sequel would just be another installment of "scary clown theater" you'd be wrong.

Bill Skarsgard, who plays Pennywise the clown, says that his character in It Chapter Two is going to be even more terrifying the second time around.

Hes inflicted fear on his prey, and hes very focused on fear, but hes never experienced it himself. Now hes experienced something that he has been inflicting on others and theres a shift leading into the second movie. It fuels hatred and anger towards the kids, who will be adults in this one, so I think there might be an even more vicious Pennywise. Hes really going after it

At the end of It, the band of kids that had been terrorized by Pennywise are able to turn the tables on him and get the upper hand. They drive the monster away, but they don't actually destroy him. This is something that they don't actually realize until many years later when the same terrible things that were happening in their hometown when they were children begin to happen again.

Only this time, based on what Bill Skarsgard tells EW, it seems Pennywise is pissed. He doesn't just want to make the kids fear him, he has it out for them for what they did to him before. It's not shocking to think an embodiment of evil is capable of holding a grudge.

And of course, Pennywise has to become a bigger threat in It Chapter Two because it has to make sense that the creature that the group defeated as children is somehow still a threat to them as adults. You'd think if they could do it once, they could do it again.

In the original Stephen King novel, the story jumps back and forth between time periods, so you don't really know what happened to Pennywise the first time around when you're reading the book. The movie audience will be sitting down knowing the character was beaten once, which will likely require the sequel to take a slightly different tact in order to raise the tension.

IT was a massive success when it came out. That success led to the sequel being given the green light in the first place. With most of the team that made the first film returning, both in front and behind the camera, as well as the addition of new actors like Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, it seems It Chapter Two is looking to be another big success.
